Divine Union Retreat: A Journey to Soul Partnership

Born in Catania, Sicily, in 1979, Floriana Rubino has been deeply connected to the elemental forces of her homeland since childhood. The volcanic presence of Mount Etna, the fragrance of orange blossoms in spring, and the majestic ancient trees surrounding the mountain have been a constant source of inspiration and spiritual connection throughout her life.

From an early age, Floriana experienced a profound bond with nature spirits and landscapes beyond the physical world. These experiences, which felt entirely natural, guided her on a lifelong journey of self-discovery and spiritual exploration. Over time, she came to understand how these inner and outer realities interconnected, revealing the universal human ability to connect directly with the Source for personal growth, healing, and self-mastery.

Her path led her to nature-based spirituality, martial arts, energy work, inner alchemy, naturopathy, and various holistic healing methods. Understanding that learning and self-development are continuous processes, she remains dedicated to evolving alongside the ever-present guidance of the Source.

Floriana holds a degree in Political Science and International Relations from La Sapienza University in Rome, with a thesis on European legal protections for biodiversity. She pursued postgraduate studies in Diplomacy, European Law, and International Marketing & Economics. Currently based in Berlin, she works as a Workers’ Councilor and trade unionist, advocating for labor rights.

A profound personal crisis served as a catalyst for transformation, stripping away all that no longer served her higher purpose. This pivotal moment intensified her inner and outer perceptions, redirecting her focus towards a deeper spiritual path and the sharing of her knowledge. 

She embarked on a deep training in shamanic healing with Jay and Kestrel Oakwood at the Bridget Healing Center, the advanced shamanic healing and initations of the 3YP with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies, and druidry with the Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids. She also trained in pranic healing with MCKS World Pranic Healing Foundation and explored matriarchal medicine and shamanism with Dr. Heide Göttner-Abendroth at HAGIA International Academy for Modern Matriarchal Studies and Matriarchal Spirituality.

Her passion for healing and vibrational medicine has led her to study sound alchemy and BioAcoustics Sound Voice Analysis with Ani Williams. She is a full member of the Dachverband Geistiges Heilen e.V., the German umbrella association for spiritual healers. Additionally, she serves as an official referent and teacher for HAGIA International Academy. Floriana is also a certified tantric Ayurvedic massage therapist and a yoga practitioner.

As a lover of music and poetry, she has collaborated with international artists, singing but she also plays the frame drum, piano, hammered dulcimer, flutes, bodhrán and several other instruments.

Continuously expanding her knowledge through guidance from compassionate spirit helpers, she embraces the wisdom that life follows a spiral path, ever-evolving and revealing new depths of understanding.

Her spiritual explorations have taken her to the sacred sites of megalithic cultures, the Mayan lands of South America, the Middle East, and Nepal, where she learned and keeps on learning from the 27th-generation dhami, Bhola Nath Banstola.

Floriana leads a life of service, sharing her experiences and teachings with others. She offers in-person healing sessions and workshops in Germany, Italy, the UK and Scandinavian countries as well as online sessions worldwide. 

As the founder, president, and director of the international interdisciplinary cultural association La Ruota in Sicily, she fosters human development, ecology, earth-based spiritual practices, community building, and modern matriarchal research. La Ruota serves as a bridge, connecting healers, researchers, artists, activists, and indigenous representatives on both local and global levels.

She believes that each individual carries a unique light and soul purpose. Her greatest wish is for all people to remember their true essence, reclaim their sovereignty about themselves and their lives, and work together to realize their full potential, living in harmony with one another, the planet, and the vast cosmic family to which we all belong.

Throughout human history, the concept of soul partnerships has fascinated spiritual seekers, mystics, and philosophers alike. Soul partnerships are sacred connections between individuals who are part of the same the same cluster, the soul partners come from the same source, and on an evolved level they experience what many tell but few experience: complete mystical union on every level of existence. The inner marriage of all aspects of onself into the awarennes of being Complete is paramount though to come together for mutual evolution.

Divine union is not about completing one another but rather about two whole beings coming together to create something greater than themselves. The caduceus, often depicted as two serpents entwined around a central staff with wings, holds profound spiritual significance in many traditions, particularly in alchemy, mysticism, and spiritual healing.

The two serpents represent the dual forces of existence—the masculine and feminine, yin and yang, solar and lunar energies. Their intertwining movement symbolizes the sacred dance of soul partnerships, first with your own soul and then with the Soul of everything that is.

This process mirrors the kundalini energy rising through the chakras, leading to spiritual illumination. The central staff signifies the spine, the channel through which spiritual energy flows, uniting the polarities within us. The wings at the top represent the ascension of consciousness, the ultimate goal of divine union: enlightenment and the realization of oneness with the Source.

The Fragmentation of Divine Union by Patriarchal Systems and the Path to Healing 

Throughout history, patriarchal religions and societal structures have systematically divided the sacred balance between the masculine and feminine within individuals and relationships. This fragmentation has led to a deep disconnection from our inner wholeness, creating imbalances that permeate every aspect of life—spiritual, emotional, and social. Understanding how this split occurred and embracing the remedy for reunification is essential for reclaiming the divine harmony within and restoring balance in the world.

Patriarchal religions and societal frameworks have historically elevated masculine principles—logic, dominance, structure, and external authority—while simultaneously suppressing feminine aspects such as intuition, receptivity, nurturance, and interconnectedness.

This suppression has manifested in several ways:

• The erasure or subjugation of Goddess traditions and feminine spiritual figures
• The portrayal of the divine as exclusively male, reinforcing a one-sided vision of divinity
• The demonization of feminine wisdom, sensuality, and natural cycles
• The systematic oppression of women, limiting their roles in spiritual and societal leadership

As a result, both men and women have been conditioned to reject or fear their own inner feminine, leading to disharmony within the self and in relationships.

Just as the feminine has been suppressed, the masculine principle has been distorted under patriarchal rule. Rather than embodying its true essence of protection, strength, and sacred leadership, it has been shaped into a force of control, aggression, and domination. 

This has led to:

• A culture of power struggles in relationships, replacing cooperation with competition
• The rejection of emotional vulnerability in men, reinforcing detachment and disconnection
• The expectation that success is measured by external achievements rather than inner fulfillment

The true divine masculine is not oppressive; it is a guiding force that uplifts, supports, and protects, working in harmony with the divine feminine rather than suppressing it.

The unbalanced split between masculine and feminine energies has created widespread issues in personal relationships and collective society. These include:

María Vázquez Herranz, Architect by training, has been facilitating sessions and leading groups as a professional in the world of therapies,  personal development and Tarot since 2008.

An eternal student, she is trained in Gestalt Therapy, Akashic Records, A Course in Miracles, Healing with Angels and various levels of Reiki, Family Constellations,  and much more.

She has been self-taught in Tarot since she was 11  years old, working for more than a year at Antena 3 TV (international  broadcast channel of the Spanish television), and offering conferences  and trainings in person and online.
She has participated in  conferences such as the First Therapeutic Tarot Congress in 2024 and  others on Mindalia TV over the last 4 years.

Her unique approach, Quantum Tarot, encompasses quantum physics, the ancestral symbolism of Tarot, psychology, different therapies and the transpersonal non-dualism of A Course in Miracles. This is how she created her exclusive method, Metamorphosis, with which she has brought clarity and self-knowledge to  clients and students around the world (Mexico, the United States,  Holland, Italy, the United Arab Emirates, Dubai and more).

Her work  consists of making people aware of the decisions that they make to  interpret their past, shape their present and, therefore, their future.  Accompanying them to release their potential, giving clarity, calm and  creating a safe environment where they can get to know and explore  themselves.

As architect, therapist and tarot reader, María has travelled to many places of power where memories and human  potential open up. She accompanies those who feel the call to places  like Avalon, the Sacred Valley of Peru, the pyramids of Bosnia, and  others to which she feels the call of the soul.

In 2025, after many  years of teaching various training courses, she created The Metamorphosis School, a space where those who seek ancestral knowledge  find tools to study it and apply it to their lives in a practical way,  bringing more awareness and thus increasing their ability to love.

Marua lives in Madrid (Spain) and spends most of the time in Glastonbury (UK) too.
